Privacy policy

The short version

Your quotes, estimates, receipts, customers, and line items live on your own device. We do not need them and we do not read them. You can use QuoteSnap without creating an account. Analytics we collect are aggregate product events with no document contents and no customer names.

What we store on your device

Your business details, drafts, saved customers, saved line items, your export count for the current month, and a random device identifier used to count events. This is stored in your browser's local database. Clearing your browser data, using “Erase everything” in the app, or uninstalling removes it.

If you create an account (optional)

An account exists only to sync your documents across devices and to manage a subscription. With sync on, your document data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on our servers so your other devices can retrieve it. You can export a copy from the app at any time, and you can ask us to delete your synced data.

Analytics

We record aggregate product events such as “document exported”, “document shared”, “free limit reached”, and the trade you selected. Each event carries a random device identifier, the event name, and a timestamp. We do not send document text, customer names, addresses, prices, or any file contents.

Documents you send may include a small “Made with QuoteSnap” footer with a link. If the recipient opens that link, we record an aggregate referral event. We do not add tracking pixels to the document itself.

Payments

Web subscriptions are processed by our payment provider, and mobile subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google. We never see or store your full card number. Billing details are handled by those providers under their own privacy terms.

What we never do

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not read the contents of your documents.
• We do not send marketing email unless you ask for it.
• We do not require an account to use the free product.

Your choices and deletion

Use “Erase everything” in Business & branding to remove all local data immediately. To delete synced data or an account, email us and we will remove it. You can export a full backup as a JSON file at any time.

Children

QuoteSnap is a business tool and is not directed to children under 16.
